Hip Hop OG from Bed Stuy, L. Haggood, releases visuals for his latest single “Listen.” The track is produced by platinum 2x Grammy-nominated Haas G aka Fantom of the Beat.
Mentally unstable, his harsh truth and crass sarcasm aggressively flow over Fantom’s superb blend of soulful, gritty melodies and revolting basslines. L. Haggood is who he is and gets down how he gets down regardless of what others think or say. “Suckers is too much of an easy word I got other nouns, and adjectives, and action verbs…”. His complexity is refreshing as he commands audiences to feel his raw emotion. Watch the video for “Listen” and connect below.
Ferrari Fresh, born Eric Purcell in Brooklyn, NY, Ferrari developed a love for music at an early age. Although life has thrown many punches such as: Adoption, death of adopted parent, and loss of two siblings Ferrari never gave up hope of a happier future.
While spending some time in the “streets” he developed a strong sense of “street smarts” while experiencing all these events. He kept a lyrical memory of all events that shaped him into the man he is today.
Ferrari discovered his love of music listening to the likes of EPMD Big Daddy Kane and other pioneers of the hip hop game in the late 80’s through the early 90’s. Influenced by his personal experience and sense of humor his rap style reflects on the ups and downs of life in Brooklyn. Determined to succeed in 2010 Ferrari Fresh decided to start his own unofficial independent music group called SMGMG Self Made Gang Music Group.
Recently teaming up with fellow Brooklyn native Terry Nichols and his camp Individual Visuals, Ferrari began performing at local showcases such as 108 lounge previously known as Monique’s in El Barrio NYC and opening up for Coke Boy Brock at Zamba Rio cabaret in Brooklyn as well as entering and winner showcase which landed one of his songs on power 105.1

those words perfectly capture the stage I’m at in life right now. The theme of
this project is saying goodbye to the old me, the way I used to be, the things
I used to believe, the way I used to see the world. This is a compilation of
songs that prior to this, I would’ve been too scared to show anyone, let alone
the world. At 22, This not only marks the beginning to my career but the
beginning of who I truly am and what I’m truly supposed to be doing in this
world. Because as they say, Nothing Last Forever..”–KROWN
