Righteous, a famed Canadian emcee/CEO of Taot Recordings releases the official video for “What Is” featuring Ruste Juxx and DJ Mercilless. The single is taken from his latest project titled ‘and the DEVIL is’ out now on all streaming platforms.
DJ Mercilless sets it off with his signature cuts and scratches while Righteous is crate-digging, setting the tone of the video. Using witty wordplay and gem-dropping punchlines, Righteous defines the role of an emcee and DJ. Ruste Juxx follows suit with his verse as What is an emcee if he can’t rap, what is a DJ if he can’t scratch hits the core throughout the entire video.
