Tribeca-Grand, lyrically mastered and iconic Hip Hop duo, present their latest album titled “Sport of the Gods”. The ten track line-up is available now on all digital streaming platforms and CD.
“Sport of the Gods” represents the true essence of Hip Hop notably the lyricism and storytelling in Boom Bap’s truest form. The first track off the album “NY-PHI” can be coined as the next arena size chanted anthem on the East Coast. The record is also symbolic as Tribeca and Grand represent two different boroughs and two different states, but are bonded in a lyrical brotherhood.
Although the album only dropped a couple of weeks ago, one of the records is already being celebrated in France, Italy, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, and Poland. “Let’s All Get Funky” is a let loose, fun record that all walks of life can kick back and vibe along with. It is also going down in the history books for uniting those countries that some leaders have diligently been trying to divide.
Tribeca-Grand have claimed their stance in Hip Hop and hold the highest respect from other major artists, peers, and fans. “Suicide Rhymer”, another record off the album, bar for bar tells that story with no skits or cockiness, just three and a half minutes of bodied punchlines!
“I put my life on the line, don’t go no patience nor the time, recline lazy boys get left behind”
“Sport of the Gods” undeniably will be another notch for the duo to add to their countless accolades including college and FM radio chart toppers, international tours, and collaborations with other Hip Hop iconic pioneers.

John Jigg$, back from his European Tour and in high demand, is fresh in the studio knocking out features and collaborations with fellow established artists.
He first linked up with Pennsylvania artist Nuch and Producer Thomas Washington for the single “Real Hip Hop”. Jigg$ as the culminating thoroughbred, delivers unblemished bars. His lyrical flow over a classic beat mixed with instrumental sounds give listeners the “Real Hip Hop”.
On to the next…Ras Beats connects with Jigg$ for his second single off his follow up EP to “The High 5”. The project includes five songs by five top emcees produced by Ras Beats himself. The result of a Queens and Long Island lyrical collision is a hard hitting track topping the charts. Listen to “And I Say” below.
Bonus Track
Jigg$ teams up with his MXNXPXLY FAMILY group member Rockwelz for an exclusive single produced by Overload Stone. “Self Made” is a self-explanatory record; no gimmicks or extra hype needed. He came from nothing and now he is at the top holding it down and moving forward. The difference between Jigg$ and other emcees is simple, he doesn’t allow any room for distractions. Rockboy Gz Bang Squad remind the world about their hard body music in the video “Reloaded”. The video was directed by legendary Producer D/R Period and Front Runna Gunna of Rockboy Gz, Fly Ty. D/R also CEO of Rockboy Records, appointed Ty as President of the label. The two have been working side by side for years in the office, on stage, in the studio, and in the directors chair! With “Reloaded” they wanted to create irony between the streets and the music industry. Who better to deliver that message other than Rockboy Gz, known for their street gully raps, and raw yet relatable lyrics, “No butter all gutter!”
Listen to “Reloaded” below.
Bonus track…Rockboy Gz present “Salute” produced by Ten Street and directed by D/R Period. Remember to salute the Gz when you see them. The squad is deep with rapturous soldiers in Canada, NY, Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and DC. “Say what up to my Gz, block to the pens from New York to the Keys. Say what up it’s the Gz, we rep with that heat from the west to the east.”
